What to Know Before You Go
We've kept our policies simple, thoughtful, and guest-first-because our goal is always to support your experience, not restrict it. If you have any questions or special requests, we're just a message away.
Booking & Cancellations
A full deposit is taken at the time of booking to confirm your reservation. You may cancel for a full refund up to 30 days before arrival. Cancellations made within 30 days are non-refundable.
As a small inn with limited availability, each reservation is meaningful to our operations, and last-minute cancellations are difficult to rebook. We truly appreciate your understanding.
Check-In & Check-Out
Check-in begins at 3:00 PM, and check-out is by 11:00 AM. If your arrival or departure needs are outside these windows, let us know—we’ll do our best to accommodate when possible. Luggage storage is available.
Extra Guests
Some rooms can accommodate additional guests for an added fee of $50 per person, per night. Children over the age of 2 are counted as guests. Please contact us in advance to confirm availability.
Quiet Hours
Out of respect for all guests, we observe quiet hours from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. As a small and intimate inn, sound can travel easily—we appreciate your mindfulness in keeping the atmosphere calm and restful.
Shared Spaces
Our living room, covered porch, and courtyard are yours to enjoy. We simply ask that you treat them with care, be mindful of others, and tidy up after yourself. Please note that our kitchen is not available for guest use.
Other Policies
Sawyer House is a pet-free, smoke-free, and vapor-free property (including candles).
Travel delays, missed connections, or other transportation issues do not qualify for refunds. We strongly recommend travel insurance to protect against unexpected disruptions.
-Daily breakfast and housekeeping services are not included in the room rate.
As we're located in the heart of the historic district, parking can be limited-so we encourage guests to explore the area by bike whenever possible.
